Ann Kenyon has been an artist most of her life and a Mandarin resident since the 1990s. She learned her craft as a young child, taking art lessons from watercolor artist, Harold Hilton, who was regarded as one of Florida’s best during his time.

Ann is now regarded as one of the best portrait artists in the country. Her portfolio includes hundreds of private portrait commissions as well as celebrity paintings and a special series called “Golfing Greats”.  In 1998, Ann painted a large portrait of Harriet Beecher Stowe that she gifted to the Mandarin Community Club. It hangs today in the main hall of the Club, which was built in 1872 as a schoolhouse with the help of Mrs. Stowe, who lived across the street during the winter seasons.
