We hope to resume buildings openings and in-person events in November. As we slowly reopen to visitation, we are asking visitors to wear a mask inside buildings and continue to distance from others. The numbers of people in a building at a time will be limited.

🍊 The historic buildings in Walter Jones Historical Park will be open on the first and third Saturdays in November and December: The 1875 Webb/Jones farmhouse, 1876 Barn, 1898 St. Joseph’s Mission Schoolhouse for African-American Children, and Losco Winery log cabin will be open from 10 am – 2 pm on November 6 and November 20, December 4 and December 18.

🍊 The 1911 Mandarin Store and Post Office, located at 12471 Mandarin Rd, will be open from 10 am – 2pm on November 20 and December 18.

🍊 The Mandarin Museum will remain closed for construction and renovation. Gift Shop items will be available on the museum’s front porch when the park buildings are open as listed above.

🍊 December 4 at 10 am: Miss Aggie Award celebration honoring Bo Phillips, held at the Losco Winery in Walter Jones Historical Park

🍊 December 5 from 2 pm – 4 pm: Under the Oaks community music jam

🍊 The 2021 Winter Celebration has been canceled due to delayed completion of the renovation of the Mandarin Museum building and the unpredictability of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to have a Grand Reopening in the late spring 2022.
