Mandarin Museum and the 1898 St. Joseph’s Mission Schoolhouse for African-American Children at Walter Jones Park at 11964 Mandarin Rd. are open 9 am-4 pm every Saturday .

The Store and Post Office is open on the first Saturday of every month from 12-4 . Located at 12471 Mandarin Rd.

February 28 – Book Signing – Dr. Peggy Bulger – author of Stetson Kennedy: Applied Folklore and Cultural Advocacy. St. Joseph’s Mission Schoolhouse for African-American Children at Walter Jones Historical Park

March 4 – Miss Aggie Day and presentation of the 2017 Miss Aggie Award recipient at the  Historic Mandarin Store and Post Office 12471 Mandarin Rd. – 1 PM. Store will be open from 12-4.

March 5 – Under the Oaks music jam – 2-4

March 18 – Meet the Maple Leaf divers – 12-4

April 2 – Under the Oaks music jam – 2-4

April 15  – Meet the Maple Leaf divers – 12-4

April 15 & 16 _ Mandarin Art Festival at Mandarin Community Club property – Mandarin Museum & Historical Society will have the Store and PO open Saturday from from 10-5 and Sunday from 10-4. The Mandarin Museum will be open Saturday only from 9-4.

May 7 – Under the Oaks music jam – 2-4

May 18 – Third Thursday Lecture – Mark Woods – Lecture on his book “Lassoing the Sun: A Year in America’s National Parks” – including a book sale and signing.

May 20 – Meet the Maple Leaf divers – 12-4
